Since the onset of the monsoon on June 30, the state has witnessed 64 fatalities linked to rain-related incidents, including 14 caused by landslides and one due to flash floods. These events have significantly impacted residents and travel in the area. Damage assessments indicate economic losses in Himachal Pradesh amount to approximately ₹797 crore. The government and disaster management teams are actively monitoring the situation and coordinating relief efforts.
