Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted India's medal winners from the 2026 Commonwealth Games at his official residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, in New Delhi on Sunday. During the interaction, Modi congratulated the athletes on their performances and heard about their experiences at the Glasgow Games. He said their achievements had made the country proud and would inspire many young people.
The Prime Minister also shared photographs and a short video of the interaction on social media. India finished fourth in the medal standings with 39 medals, including 13 gold, 17 silver and nine bronze.
