On the 15th day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament (August 7, 2026), the Lok Sabha is scheduled to take up The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2026 and the Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 for consideration and passing.

Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi will move the MSME Development (Amendment) Bill to further update the 2006 framework, following its prior passage by the Rajya Sabha. The legislative initiative seeks to enhance the ease of doing business, address delayed payments, and simplify regulatory compliance for small-scale enterprises across the country.
