Google has confirmed that its first screen-free fitness tracker, the Fitbit Air, will officially launch in India in October 2026.
The announcement was made alongside the launch of Google’s latest hardware lineup, including the Pixel 11 series, Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and Pixel Watch 5.
What Makes It Unique?
- Zero Distractions: Designed completely without a screen, it eliminates notification fatigue while silently collecting background health metrics 24/7.
- Ultra-Lightweight Comfort: Weighs just 12g and measures 8.3mm thick, making it barely noticeable during workouts or sleep.
Key Tracking & Features
- Passive Health Data: Continuous monitoring of heart rate, HRV, irregular heart rhythms (AFib), SpO2, and automated sleep stages.
- Discreet Feedback: Uses gentle vibration alerts and a subtle LED indicator for notifications like low battery and silent alarms instead of glowing screen pop-ups.
- Battery & Perks: Delivers roughly a week of battery life and includes a 3-month trial of Google Health Premium with AI-powered Health Coach tools.
Expected Pricing
Originally launched globally in May for $99.99, third-party Amazon India listings currently suggest prices around ₹17,380 (Black Performance Loop) to ₹18,490 (Pink). Official retail pricing from Google will be announced closer to the October release.
