Self-Enumeration Commencement: The online Self-Enumeration facility for Census 2027 has commenced in Assam, enabling residents to submit their household and individual details digitally to make the process more participatory, convenient, and citizen-friendly.
Submission Portal & Window: Citizens can digitally register and submit their household and individual details via se.census.gov.in from August 2 through August 16.
Advance Process: The 15-day online window allows residents to complete their census information in advance from home prior to physical visits.
Verification & Tracking: Submitting details online generates a unique reference number for future verification.
On-Ground Verification: From August 17 to September 15, trained enumerators will conduct the official Houselisting Operation and Housing Census to verify and confirm the submitted data.
