Henley & Partners has published its latest quarterly edition of the world's most powerful passports, revealing notable shifts in global mobility and international travel access.

In the updated index, the Indian passport climbed to the 84th rank. While the numerical ranking reflects an improvement compared to previous cycles, Indian passport holders currently retain visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 55 destinations worldwide. Analysts note that fluctuations in rank can occur based on the shifting travel agreements and relative progress of other participating nations.

At the top of the global standings, Singapore maintained its position as the world's strongest passport, offering its citizens hassle-free access to 193 destinations. It is followed by a joint second-place ranking shared by Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates, each providing access to 188 destinations. Conversely, countries mired in ongoing regional conflicts and severe economic isolation—specifically Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan—remain at the bottom of the index.
